Overview

The Class 66 is the most numerous freight locomotive on the British railway network and Hornby’s latest run of ‘sheds’ - exclusive to World of Railways - features one of the most colourful: 66587 ‘As One, We Can’ in the truly striking pink scheme of Ocean Network Express, in partnership with Freightliner.

Featuring a mighty five pole motor, directional lighting, hefty diecast chassis, and accurate tooling to depict a low emission subclass, this ‘shed’ would look right at home on any modern image TT:120 layout.

This latest run of TT Class 66s feature an altered wheel profile to maximise smooth running characteristics, and an adjusted kinematic coupling arm to improve the locos’ ability to pull rolling stock around 2nd radius curves.
