The underside is fully weathered with rust highlights to the springs and brake blocks, dark staining around the axleboxes and buffer grease. The white brake handles show signs of being cleaner through handling. The interior has dark varied black and brown tones. This special treatment means the wagons are ready to roll in your industrial landscape.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlmost a quarter of a million of British railways ‘standard’ 16-ton mineral wagon were produced from 1950 onwards; all living hard, and damaging, lives with withdrawals taking place continually through their period of use with some of these condemned for scrap or finding use for their last years with industrial users.
